Ashley, Office Manager
With over two decades of experience in the dental field, several years of which have been spent right here with the Grand Dental family, Ashley is an integral part of our team! She started out as a dental assistant in 2005, and over the years she has moved up to a management role. Her favorite part of her job is being able to build relationships with patients and the rest of her team and get to know everyone on a personal level.
Whenever she isn’t at the office, you can find her spending time with her nephew and parents. She enjoys gardening and being outdoors, and she loves growing different types of vegetables every year and seeing what works and what doesn’t that season! She also enjoys cooking Italian food and smoking meats. Naturally, a cook needs people to try everything they make, so she’s always having people over, too! A fun fact about Ashley is that she’s also a licensed cosmetologist.
Krista, Dental Hygienist
Krista has been an important part of the Grand Dental family for over 20 years and has nearly three decades of experience in the dental field. She loves helping patients feel comfortable at their cleanings and building lasting relationships that makes them feel like they are family. Krista completed her dental hygiene degree from Parkland College, BS in Health from the University of St. Francis, and her MA in Organizational Leadership from Concordia University – Chicago. She’s also certified in local anesthesia, laser use, and nitrous oxide sedation.
Whenever Krista isn’t at the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She’s a self-proclaimed foodie and loves trying new restaurants and local breweries. Most days of the week, she enjoys working out by lifting weights, going on walks and runs, and attending spin class. She’s also a passionate reader and enjoys watching shows and documentaries. An interesting fact about Krista is that she’s an adjunct faculty member at a local dental hygiene college and has been teaching hygiene students since 2021!
