Our office is happy to welcome all PPO dental insurance plans. We’ll file claims on your behalf to make sure your benefits are maximized, and for select companies, we also offer in-network savings. Regardless of whether you’re in- or out-of-network, we’ll do everything we can to minimize your costs and help you get the most out of your plan’s benefits.
Dental insurance is very different from medical insurance, and because benefits and terms can vary from plan-to-plan, it can be hard to understand how to use your plan to the fullest. Every month, you pay a premium to access your benefits. However, those are primarily focused on covering preventive services as opposed to cosmetic and restorative treatments. Because of this, we encourage all of our patients to come in every six months for their routine checkups and cleanings. From here, our team will do what we can to prevent the need for more extensive treatments that have higher out-of-pocket costs.
While every dental insurance plan can vary, there’s a general rule of thumb that most companies use to determine coverage. The 100-80-50 policy means that 100 percent of your preventive services, like checkups and cleanings, 80 percent of minor restorative care, like fillings, and 50 percent of more complex care, like tooth extractions, will be covered. However, to know for sure, our team always recommends calling your insurance provider directly.
If you’re uninsured, that’s not a problem! We offer an easy-to-use in-house membership plan, called our Grand Advantage Plan. For just $259 a year, you’ll receive access to all of your preventive care, as well as a 20 percent discount on any other treatments that you may need.
