Why Did Dr. Bice
Become a Dentist?
After a knee injury in high school that required surgery, Dr. Brandon Bice first considered a career in anesthesiology. His sister, an operating room nurse, also encouraged him to look into surgical specialties. While exploring both paths, he discovered oral and maxillofacial surgery—a field that combined his interests, since oral surgeons are trained to provide anesthesia as well as surgical care.
Where Did He Study Dentistry?
Dental school was his first step toward that goal, but it was there that he realized the best part of dentistry wasn’t procedures—it was building relationships. He saw that general dentists have a unique opportunity to care for patients over many years, often becoming a trusted part of their lives. That realization helped him discover his true passion: general dentistry.
Dr. Bice earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. Since then, he has completed advanced training in endodontics, implant placement, restorative dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. He values being able to offer a wide range of services so he can help patients with many different needs.
Outside of the Office,
What Does Dr. Bice Like to Do?
Outside the office, Dr. Bice loves spending time with his wife, Maddie, and their preschool aged twins, Bran and Blair. He’s fully enjoying life as a new dad—and is quickly building a collection of dad jokes to match.
